I'm a senior software engineer at Revoech, where I work on a large-scale US FinTech platform with over a million lines of production code. The stack spans Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and async job queues backed by Graphile Worker. Most of my time goes to the parts of the system that cannot be allowed to be wrong: settlement, reconciliation, and read-path correctness under load.

Before my current role I spent a year at the same company building full-stack features across React frontends and Python and Django backends for clients across multiple industries. That breadth is useful. It is easier to design a good API when you have spent real time on both sides of it.

I care about the kind of engineering that is invisible when it works: low-latency read paths, idempotent writes, migrations that do not require a maintenance window. I am less interested in greenfield systems than in the ones that have been running long enough to accumulate real constraints.

Outside of engineering, I read history and philosophy of science. How communities of practitioners actually come to know things (as opposed to how textbooks say they do) seems relevant to most of what I do at work.
